Computer checkup

Interactivity is a crucial aspect of this CD-ROM. Follow the directions below to see if your computer has the appropriate browser plug-ins that are necessary:

  • Click on the small keyboard in the top navigation bar to see if a separate browser window opens with a graphic of a labeled piano keyboard.
  • Within the lessons, whenever you encounter text that is green (as in the banner at the top of this page), roll your mouse over the text and/or graphics to see what happens!

  • Try out the following Flash movie:

  • Throughout the course you will be able to hear musical exerpts using QuickTime. Can you name this tune?

  • Many of the resources of the course (e.g., Written Assignments) are PDF files that you will be required to print. Why don't you get a head start on this and print out Written Assignment 1.1?
